Hey! Where'd You Come From?
“Ready?” I breathed.
She nodded.
“Action!”, I whispered.
I reached up and yanked aside the curtain.
The show began!
Only 5 kids on my front lawn enjoyed the puppet show that day but...
At 9, The directing bug had bitten me.

The next time I directed, It was 19 years later. And It was fantastic!
Was I formally trained?
No. But, I was determined!
Armed only with my shiny new camera, lights, microphone and editing software. I figured it out.
And since…no one told me I couldn’t be a PRODUCER... the first show was called *Living The Life TV*.
Two hosts were hired (Jodi and Tyler) to make the show great. Then the brand building began!
The web site, the premise, the logo, the motion graphics, the show template, the guest line up and the script. Those were only some of the details that went into building the show.
And, other than the hosts, I was a team of one.

Later on in show production years I learned that there is no *I* in team. It’s just SO much better to have a crew. And while all of my team began as experts in their field, we mostly wound up as life long friends.

Because I'd learned the value of building brands, not only for Sugar C Media but also for each show I'd built,
the same principles were used to create the *right* video for clients. A video that would be effective in attracting buying clients. Just like the audiences I reached through tv.
The solo-preneurs I worked loved their results. Here's just a few words of love ...

Now, 9 years after *Living the Life TV* and with 3 more tv shows, 2 vlogs, a documentary and hundreds of strategized client videos under my professional belt, I still get bubbly excited each time I’m asked to brainstorm ideas and offer my guidance to make the *right* video content.
And, while you didn't ask outright, I'll share a little secret...
There’s always some sort of show production percolating in my brain, just waiting to be made.
