Do you know which Social Media platform your perfect audience hangs out in?
Alright….lets back up a bit.
Before we find out where they are , we need to know who they are.
If you haven’t already read the earlier BUILD a Money Spending AVATAR blog post where we created the overall picture of your perfect audience member… I’d suggest you read it. It’s how you know the following:
Who they are,
What’s their age.
Where they live.
Are they married/divorced/single?
Do they work and where?
All of these things will now help you find out where they live ~ online.
By knowing the specific person that you’re looking to connect with You can then match that to the audience of a Social Media platform .
Each platform’s users are uniquely defined by
Perhaps you’re asking why do I need to know where my video are going to be seen before I create them?
Oooooh … Great Question!!!
Because each platform values different aspects in a video.

The demographics of Facebook users is nearly split down the middle, but leans more towards a female user base with 54% women and 46% men.

78 % of online 30 - 49 year olds are using facebook

Linked in is generally used for business to business contact.
